Pawn Shop of Coincidence

Pawn Shop of Coincidence

"Andrea’s poems move through memory like light through water, revealing shadows beneath the shimmer."
~ Katherine McDaniel

Pawn Shop of Coincidence

For all its colorful quirkiness, the proverbial pawn shop is a bleak marketplace where precious possessions are scrapped for a meager sum.

Not so in poet Andrea Fry’s Pawn Shop of Coincidence.

Hers is a safe haven for the intangible stuff of life—a place where human histories, with all their remarkable coincidences, are collected and explored to reveal their hidden truths. Memories are not forsaken here. Rather they are cherished and prized for their authenticity.

These poems tell stories that draw on Fry’s own life experiences but the beauty of this pawn shop is that it triggers our own personal reflections. There is something here for us all.
